So a few weeks ago, I figured I needed a new profile picture for FB, and instead of taking a picture, I decided to paint one instead.
I was more or less inspired by Caravaggio (an "Old Master" Italian painter) and his use of dark backgrounds and shadows, strong lights, and whatnot. I also wanted to do something with a more realistic color palette.
This took about five or six hours in Photoshop. Titled "Chrysanthemum", which is my birth month flower.
